Christ is in our midst!
WELCOME!
Our school’s Patron Saint, St. Raphael of Brooklyn, said of himself,
I am an Arab by birth, a Greek by primary education, an American by residence, a Russian at heart, and a Slav in soul.
With his diverse and rich background, Bishop Raphael of Brooklyn was committed to growing his local flock, particularly focusing on the youth and concerning himself with their future. He established evening schools to educate young people in a Christian ethos because he believed the future of the Church depended on the instruction of its youth. Today, we too, carry on this commitment and high calling.
St. Raphael School, through God’s grace, has carefully created a curriculum which honors his legacy. Alongside each of your homeschools, we have stellar instructors who are passionate about classical education saturated in the Orthodox tradition. Our key objective is to offer you all the best in classical, restful pedagogy and curricula to support you as the primary educators for your child(ren). We are dedicated to this mission as a community; we are your school.
As we prepare for the start of classes on September 5, you will find these resources important and helpful:
Of greatest immediate interest to you is the Instructor Welcome Letter. Check your email for a letter(s) from your respective instructor(s) which will arrive no later than August 22. (Remember to check your spam folder, and reach out to the instructor if you don’t see it.) Your instructor’s letter will communicate course details, including the date and time for orientation, held during the week of August 28. There will be a letter and an orientation for each course in which you are enrolled.
If you have any questions about your specific class, please contact your instructor. For all other inquiries, please email support@scholeacademy.com.
